This is such a beautiful example of the attention to detail from the house of Chanel. This dress is a sample from the 1998P collection, and only this one was made -- a one-of-a-kind Chanel! The retail price tag is still attached at $4,695.00. There are triangles of embroidery detail in the front, back, and on each hip creating two small pockets. Within the embroidery there are "starched" fabric sequins sewn throughout the design. You'll also find the design encircling the dress 10.5 inches from the hemline. At the left side you'll find a slit pleat of 10.5 inches. The dress closes with a hidden back zipper. It is unlined with double fabric on the bodice.
